Has Seen Some Things

This original 5x7 drawing was created by hand using my signature dip nib and black ink on 300gsm archival paper. I then mounted the finished drawing to cradled wood using matte gel medium and sealed the piece with a satin varnish.

“Has Seen Some Things” is packed with long faces, strange profiles and hidden characters that seem to grow out of one another. The more you look around the headdress, face and clothing, the more little details start to show themselves.
